Panelist Profile

Drawing from a long career of executive positions in Fortune 500 companies, Harvey Kanter has experienced many leadership styles and approaches. Armed with insatiable curiosity, optimism, tenacity, and an appetite for adventure, he has navigated many challenges-including a battle with cancer. Through an incredible encounter with Seattle University's Center for Leadership (and as a Jew, an unlikely match for attending a Jesuit university's graduate program) his definition for accomplishment was turned upside down and his perspective of leadership forever changed. Written not as a memoir or biography, but rather a collection of thoughts and experiences, Choosing to Lead is the journaled expedition of Harvey's pursuit to lead and create meaning.
